The services we offer are listed below:

What methods of payment do you accept?

  • A bank transfer payment is our preferred method of payment.
  • Online payments via PayPal and credit cards. Accepted credit cards include: MasterCard, Visa, Maestro and American Express. Please note that card payments will have a surcharge of 3%.
  • Payments by cheque in British Pounds, made payable to Renaissance Translations Ltd, can be posted to our address.

How do you ensure that the highest translation standards are maintained?

Our thorough recruitment policy ensures your translation will be in safe hands. Our stringent quality control policy further guarantees your translations will bring you prolific results.

Can I use your services while I am abroad?

Of course! Renaissance Translations is very active in the global market and provides services remotely. Give us a nudge and we will happily reply to your queries. You can contact us by telephone, email and fax or through Skype 24/7.

How flexible are your delivery times?

It depends. The delivery date is impacted by the size and complexity of your project. Most documents are translated in two or three days. Some can be finished in just one day, if required. We will give you a time estimate with your quote.

How do you decide what to charge for your translations?

Our rates are calculated based on the following factors:

  • Language combination (source and target languages)
  • Word count of the original document
  • Type of text (legal, technical, etc.)
  • Desired turnaround date
  • Document format
  • Any specialised terminology/abbreviations that will be used in your translation

Do you translate all languages?

No. We only translate to and from the 120+ languages stated on our website. However, if you have an urgent project in a language that is not listed, please contact us anyway. We are happy to provide recommendations or additional resources.

Can bilingual people translate?

It depends. Some of them have this unique ability, but not all. Just as there are varying skills in verbal and written communications in any language, the same holds true when translating between languages. Our recruitment policy requires our translators have translation degrees and 5+ years of proven professional experience. These requirements ensure strong skills for both the first translator and the second translator performing the Quality Control process.

Do you proofread your translations?

Absolutely! Every translation is proofread internally and then a final check is performed by your assigned project manager to ensure it meets your requirements. Please see our Quality Control process and proofreading services (for your previously translated document).

Do you accept all types of documents (various file extensions)?

Yes. We can read and edit most file formats. We will handle your project professionally and deliver it in whatever format you prefer.
